Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I underwent C3R on my right eye 2.5 months ago. However, I have noticed that the double vision in the same eye has increased. For instance, even when I hold my phone close to my eyes while wearing glasses, the letters appear blurry or double. I feel like my vision has worsened after the C3R procedure. Is this change in vision permanent? Should I consider adjusting my eyeglass prescription due to these issues? Please help.

Thank you.

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I read your query and understand your concern.

If you are experiencing blurry or double vision, it could be indicative of an underlying eye condition, such as astigmatism (Occurs when the curvature of either the cornea that is the front surface of the eye or the lens inside the eye is uneven or does not match) or presbyopia (a type of refractive error causing difficulty in near vision for individuals in their middle-aged and older years). I suggest you schedule an appointment with an eye care professional for a comprehensive eye examination to determine the cause and receive appropriate treatment. Double vision can also occur when the eyes are fatigued or strained. This may result from prolonged use of digital devices or reading in inadequate lighting conditions. Taking regular breaks for your eyes and ensuring proper lighting is important to minimize the occurrence of double vision.

I hope this helps.
