Patient's Query

Hi,

I usually get my periods regular for five days cycle, and the flow is also decent. I have no other health issues, according to my knowledge. However, yesterday, while taking a bath and applying soap to my body, I noticed this swelling under my left breast. It is not swelling, and it is a palpable lump. I touched it, and I could feel it around and movable. I have no pain. I am scared that it could be breast cancer. I hope it is not that. Please help.

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I understand your concern.

The lump under the breast is not normal and has to be investigated.

You have not mentioned whether it is painful or not.

I would suggest you get mammography of both of your breast done, and please get a consultation from a general surgeon.

Such lumps may be either a benign condition or may be due to injury or trauma turned into inflammation, or maybe pre-cancerous conditions.

Thank you.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
