What could be the reason for a tiny bump under the foreskin with no pain, irritation, or unusualness in the penis?

This Premium Q&A, reviewed and published, features a real conversation between an iCliniq user and a physician.

Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I am a 32-year-old male. I am concerned about a very tiny bump under the foreskin. It feels like a very tiny knot or pimple or something. It has not grown on the foreskin but under it, as it is not moving when the foreskin is moved. The location is more or less just below the glans. I had previously noticed smegma under my foreskin. There is no pain, irritation, or unusualness in the penis or groin area. The skin looks normal. Nothing is visible on the outer skin. What could be the reason for this?

Please help.

Thank you.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I read your query and understand your concern.

It seems to be a thrombosed vein or a healed, undetected injury to the corpora. An exact diagnosis can be made only on clinical examination. But from your description, it does not look like any cancer. Any lesion at the skin level is suspicious in the penis. But it is deeper to the skin, not growing. Thrombosed healed deep vein is common. If painless, nothing needs to be done. Just follow up after three months to report any growth of the lesion.

Thank you.
