Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I felt a shock in bed and then a deep penetrating burn. My local doctor said they were a burn, but I need expert advice also. Is this something you can assist me with? I am attaching my pictures also.

Please help.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I went through your query and understood your concern.

I went through the images (the attachments removed to protect the patient's identity).

I shall assist you to the best of my capacity and ability.

From the pictures attached, it looks very unlikely to be a burn mark. When did this incident take place?

Please update with the answer.

Thanks and regards.

Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

Thanks for your reply.

This happened in the evening. I put perfume on my neck and was in bed on my side but had not fallen asleep yet. It felt like an intense shock, then immediately like a burn that penetrated layers of skin. I believe it was a stun gun that ignited a spark because of the perfume present on my skin. It was very painful. I have included a photo that I think shows the circular burn pattern. In addition, it also shows the line where the stun is across the middle of the burn. This is a characteristic burn pattern of a stun gun. I did not have any electric or electronic items in bed with me.

Please help.

Hello,

Welcome back to icliniq.com.

I have a few more questions.

1. What was the type of perfume?

2. Have you been using it frequently or for first-time use?

3. Did you get the perfume laboratory test after the series of episodes listed above?

Kindly update us with the answers.

Thanks and regards.
