Capillaritis

Capillaritis is otherwise known as pigmented purpura. It is a condition where red-brown dots and patches appear on the skin. There is no known cause, but certain medications, venous hypertension, allergy to clothing, and systemic diseases may cause capillaritis. This condition is managed by applying mid-potent topical steroids, oral therapy with the bioflavonoid, and ascorbic acid.
