Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I can understand your concern.

I would like to know your complaint in specific. From the scans, it can be seen that you are myopic, and overall, both the macula and disc scan show mild thinning, which can be normal in myopia. I cannot tell only by scan.

  1. What is your specific complaint?

  2. Do you use any drops?

  3. Since you are using progressive glasses, does your vision look fine, or do you have a problem even with glasses?

  4. Do you have a family history of glaucoma?

  5. Any other tests that you have done?

  6. Are any surgeries done?

And since the prescription is in another language, I have predicted whatever I saw. So a follow-up with the above information would be best.

Please let me know if you need any help.

Take care.

Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

Thank you for the reply.

Here are some details to clarify my situation:

  1. My main concern is related to the potential misdiagnosis of cataracts and the inconsistent eye prescriptions I have received.

  2. I do not currently use any eye drops.

  3. I use progressive glasses, and my vision is generally fine, but there have been discrepancies in the prescriptions.

  4. There is no known family history of glaucoma.

  5. I have had optical coherence tomography and other scans, but no surgeries. If needed, I can provide a translation of the prescription details.

Kindly help.

Hello,

Welcome back toicliniq.com.

I read your query and can understand your concern.

Given your age and the frequent changes in glass power, as you stated. There is a potential for cataracts, and there are several advanced technologies available to you, but a diagnosis of cataracts can only be made by an in-person review.

Thank you

I hope I have answered your question.

Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards.
