Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I need some help. So I recently got COVID-19, and after it, I had the side effect of having immense chest pain every time I lay down. I went to the doctor and got some medical advice and have been taking medicines. But today, when I was trying to sleep, I felt immense pain again. I am terrified if I get chronic fatigue because that is a sign of cancer.

Kindly help.

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I understand your concern.

Chest pain is associated with cough, shortness of breath, swallowing, and sputum production. I can see that when you lay down, the pain gets worse. I suspect a condition called costochondritis, inflammation of the chest wall. Please do a chest X-ray and take the following tablets. Take the tablets Celecoxib (NSAID) 200 mg, Clopidogrel (antiplatelet) 75 mg, and a capsule of Piroxicam (NSAID) 40 mg and apply neurogesic cream twice daily. If your symptoms persist, schedule another follow-up appointment via chat, phone, or video consultation.

I hope this information will help you.

Thanks.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
