Patient's Query
Hello doctor,
I am a 20-year-old weighing 123 pounds and 5 feet 11 inches tall. I am currently on Sertraline 50 mg. I have been experiencing ongoing back pain for about a year now. The pain is manageable when I am active but tends to flare up when I am inactive. I have observed certain triggers, such as alcohol, and the pain is typically worse in the morning or at night. The pain in my back is located in the upper left thoracic area, and it feels like a deep ache that extends through my back to my chest. When I bend my chin to my chest, I experience pain radiating down my spine to the site of the back pain. Please help.
Thank you.
Hello,
Welcome to icliniq.com.
I have read your query, and I can understand your concern.
It seems to be due to sitting in the wrong posture, lack of regular exercise, and lack of proper sleep. Do not depend on medication alone. Practice yoga and pranayama regularly, and go for walks regularly. Meditate regularly and sit in the correct posture. Sleep in the correct posture. I suggest you take one tablet of Aceclofenac per day for seven days and one multivitamin tablet daily for six weeks. Send me a follow-up in seven days. Consult your specialist doctor, discuss with him or her, and take the medicines with their consent.
I hope this will help you.
Thank you.
