What can be the reason for uneven healing of circumcision?

It is also possible that some part of the skin was not reapproximated properly during the surgery. Although the image is not very clear for me, I also see that the penis head (glans) is rather white in colour. This may indicate that you have a condition called BXO (balanitis xerotica obliterans), and wound-related issues are quite common if this is the case.

I would suggest you follow the instructions mentioned below:

1. Continue using Megaheal (Polymeric Hydrogel) gel twice daily. It keeps the wound moist for better epithelialisation.

2. Clean gently once daily with Oxum (superoxidised solution) or saline; avoid over-washing or scrubbing.

3. Keep the area dry and exposed to air for short periods each day.

4. Wear loose cotton underwear to avoid friction.

5. Avoid applying any powders or multiple creams together.

You should immediately review with the surgeon who performed the procedure if you notice:

1. Increasing pain, redness, or yellow discharge

2. Bleeding or foul smell

3. Fever or swelling of the shaft

Otherwise, expect the raw side to gradually re-epithelialise within a few more weeks.

A few drops of urine leaking after sitting or while sleeping is not uncommon after circumcision and usually happens because some urine remains trapped near the tip or just inside the urethra after passing urine. This can slowly come out later due to a position change or pressure.

However, given that you recently had surgery and now mention this symptom, we should consider a few possibilities:

1. Post-void dribbling: Common in men after local swelling or mild irritation near the meatus (urine outlet).

2. Mild infection or inflammation: If the raw area from surgery is still healing, slight inflammation can delay complete closure of the urethral opening.

3. Incomplete bladder emptying: Rare at your age, but if you feel fullness or need to strain while urinating, we should check your bladder emptying (uroflow, ultrasound, PVR -post-void residual).

For now, please follow the advice below:

1. Always milk the urethra gently from base to tip after urination to remove any residual urine.

2. Keep the area clean and dry, continue using Oxum (Superoxidised Solution) wash and Megaheal (Polymeric Hydrogel) as prescribed.

3. Avoid holding urine for long periods.

4. If there is burning, odour, or fever, get a urine routine and culture done; it may indicate infection.

5. If the leakage persists for more than one to two weeks or increases, or if you develop new symptoms (pain, swelling, difficulty in passing urine), please review in person.
