Co-trimoxazole

Co-trimoxazole is a combination antibiotic drug containing Trimethoprim and Sulfamethoxazole, which is used in the treatment of bacterial infections like bronchitis, pneumonia, urinary tract infections, intestinal infections, ear infections, and traveler's diarrhea. It is available in tablet and suspension form, and should be taken twice daily but can also be taken upto four times a day. It acts by hindering the bacterial growth.
