Medical Conditions - Coeliac Disease

The allergic reaction to gluten intake in some people causes damage to the small intestine, eliminating nutrient intake. This is known as coeliac disease. Gluten is present in wheat, barley, and rye. Symptoms include constipation, diarrhea, stomach ache, bloating, frequent farts, indigestion, fatigue, nutritional deficiency, and weight loss. This is due to an autoimmune disorder. There is no cure for this disease. However, diet changes excluding gluten can prevent the symptoms.
