Patient's Query
Hi doctor,
I am a 34-year-old female. I had been suffering from a bad sore throat and cold since last week. I took the tablet Azee 500 mg for five days but still, there was no relief and later the doctor prescribed the tablet Augmentin for another five days. I am worried that taking these antibiotics back-to-back might cause antibiotic resistance. Also, I have had a sore throat repeatedly. I do not drink or eat anything cold, like ice cream or similar things but still, this happens very frequently. What can I do to prevent these episodes of sore throats? Please help.
