Patient's Query
Hi doctor,
I was admitted to a hospital for three months for a spinal injury and three fractured vertebrae. The doctor said nothing could be done. I developed a dead area on my stomach from the injection and touch. I also lost five stones and lost my voice for five months. I have a facial rash and have developed a bad loss of appetite. Also, I have chronic constipation due to morphine-based painkillers.
Now I feel my colon has stopped working, as laxatives and suppositories have stopped working. I do not want to go back to the hospital because they have done nothing for me. They even suggested my stomach symptoms were psychological and had progressed to a chronic situation. I must fly home soon, so I would like some advice.
Please help.
Thank you.
