Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

My two-month-old child has got a cold and cough. Maxtra Drop has been administered thrice a day for the last four days. But the cough still persists. Upon consulting our paediatrician, we have been advised to administer Ambrodil S syrup along with Sporidex syrup. Since Sporidex is an antibiotic, we are a little apprehensive of potential side effects and would like to have a second opinion.

Thank you.

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

Sporidex is a very safe antibiotic. Ensure that you use the correct dosage as prescribed by your paediatrician.
