This Premium Q&A, reviewed and published, features a real conversation between an iCliniq user and a physician.

Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I am a 20-year-old male and my teeth are very dirty and yellowish. I want white and strong teeth. I am using Manjan toothpowder for brushing. I also had an injury and my tooth was broken and there is a black spot on the tooth.

Kindly suggest. Thank you.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I have read your query and understand your concern.

You can get your dental scaling done at a dental clinic or hospital, you cannot do it by yourself. Manjan or dental powders are not good for teeth. Try using any antibacterial toothpaste twice a day. For black spots, you need to visit a dentist as they can be examined clinically. He will guide you properly. The black spot can be treated with filling or any other procedure. Till your visit to a dentist avoid taking a sugary (meethi) diet.

Thank you.
