What causes weakness, tiredness, and difficulty sleeping?

This Premium Q&A, reviewed and published, features a real conversation between an iCliniq user and a physician.

Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I am dealing with a range of issues that are affecting my health:

  1. I am experiencing difficulty in achieving a restful night's sleep, leading to disturbed sleep patterns.
  2. Upon waking up, I consistently feel weak and tired, which continues throughout the day.
  3. I have noticed swelling in my thigh, just below the testicles, after walking long distances.
  4. My sexual health is a concern as well – I feel inadequate due to small penis and testicle size, and my sexual performance is unsatisfactory.
  5. Mentally, I am struggling. I find it hard to concentrate, battle with numerous thoughts, and experience feelings of depression and loneliness.

Despite consulting various physicians, I have not received effective treatment for these problems. This has persisted for around 4 to 5 years, even though I maintain a balanced diet and avoid unhealthy foods and drinks.

Please help.

Thank you.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I read your query and understand your concern.

Based on the information provided in your inquiries, here is the response:

Your concerns raised in the first two queries suggest the possibility of depression. To determine the precise nature of the depression, further details are necessary. In situations like these, apart from medications, counseling and psychotherapeutic interventions could be beneficial. I suggest you consult a psychiatrist nearby for a comprehensive evaluation.

For query three, I would suggest you consult a general physician who can make an assessment after a physical examination. Regarding query four, it is important to note that the size of the penis does not correlate with sexual performance. Male organs possess elasticity to expand and perform effectively. If there are any specific physical concerns, general practitioners can provide appropriate guidance. Additionally, reduced sexual performance might also be a component of depressive illness.

Thank you.
