Hello doctor,
An active baby boy of 10 months old, weighing 20.94 pounds (lbs) has a cough and runny nose. Baby is on supplements Vitanova D3, and Multivitamins A to Z. I want to know about the diet chart and other supplements if needed for the baby.
Kindly help.
Hello,
Welcome to icliniq.com.
I read your query and can understand your concern.
I suggest you follow the diet chart mentioned below:
In the morning (7:00 - 8:00 am):
Breast milk or formula milk: 150-180 ml.
Followed by mashed fruit like banana, papaya, or pear (two to three tablespoons).
Mid-morning (10:00 - 11:00 am):
Ragi porridge or suji kheer: Add a pinch of turmeric to help with immunity.
Lunch (1:00 - 1:30 pm):
Khichdi or rice and dal mash: Add a small amount of ghee.
Include well-cooked vegetables like carrots, pumpkin, or spinach.
Afternoon Snack (4:00 pm)
Homemade fruit puree or yogurt: Apple or stewed prunes.
Evening (6:00 - 7:00 pm)
Vegetable soup: Warm, clear soup made with carrots, spinach, or pumpkin.
Dinner (8:00 pm)
Mashed potato or sweet potato with spinach.
Alternatively, thin oat porridge with milk or water.
Kindly consult a specialist doctor, discuss with them, and take medications with their consent.
I hope this helps.
Thank you.
