Patient's Query
Hello doctor,
I have digestive problems. After eating, I feel vomiting and acidity. While eating foods like spicy, and oily as well as normal foods, the hunger feels like satisfied but in actual, the hunger is not fulfilled.
Kindly help.
Hello,
Welcome to icliniq.com.
I read your query and can understand your concern.
These symptoms could be indicative of a condition known as acid reflux, where stomach acid flows back into the esophagus, causing discomfort and a feeling of nausea. It is important to consult a healthcare professional to determine the underlying cause and receive appropriate treatment. Additionally, maintaining a balanced diet that includes fiber-rich foods and avoiding triggers such as spicy and oily foods may help alleviate these digestive issues.
Acid reflux can be managed effectively by incorporating certain foods into your diet and making necessary lifestyle changes. Some examples of foods that are generally considered good for acid reflux include:
Oatmeal.
Ginger.
Leafy greens.
Lean proteins like chicken or fish.
Additionally, it is important to avoid trigger foods such as spicy or fatty meals, caffeine, alcohol, and citrus fruits. Alongside dietary modifications, lifestyle changes like maintaining a healthy weight, eating smaller meals more frequently, and avoiding lying down immediately after eating.
Hope this helps.
Thank you.
