What is the treatment for droopy eyelids?

This Premium Q&A, reviewed and published, features a real conversation between an iCliniq user and a physician.

Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I am 23 years old and my left eye is smaller than the right. I think it is a droopy eyelid and I have had it since I was in 10th grade. Please suggest a way to fix it.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I have read your query and understand your concern. In the picture, it seems normal (attachment removed to protect the patient's identity). The droopy eyelid has a different presentation. I think you have some kind of allergy and more screen time. Kindly share if you have symptoms of itching or watering in your eyes. Also, use lubricant eye drops frequently and take off-screen time. Follow the 20-20-20 rule and use anti-glare spectacles.
