Is consuming many drugs at a time responsible for my dizziness?
Patient's Query
Hello doctor,
I took approximately 50 to 60 tablets to end my life a few days back. Despite this, I am still alive today, and I deeply regret my actions. Since that incident, I have experienced persistent dizziness and occasional numbness in various parts of my body, although these sensations have improved at times. However, they tend to return. Additionally, I am suffering from headaches and a feeling of instability when I stand.
Kindly help.
Hello,
Welcome to icliniq.com.
I read your query and can understand your concern.
Based on your symptoms, it appears you may be experiencing peripheral neuropathy due to a potential injury affecting the blood vessels that supply your organs, which could be limiting blood flow to these areas.
I suggest you do the following tests:
-
Urine test.
-
Blood toxicology test.
Share the results with me.
I advise you to do the following:
-
Two tablets of Naproxen (a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug) 500 milligrams orally three times a day for one week, and
-
Two tablets of Centrum (multivitamins) 500 milligrams orally once daily for one month.
You may also benefit from peritoneal dialysis, as I suspect that drug metabolites could still be present in your system, potentially causing issues.
If you have any further concerns or questions, please feel free to schedule a direct appointment or follow up through chat, phone, or video consultation.
Kindly consult a specialist doctor, talk with them, and take medications with their consent.
I hope this information helps you.
Feel free to ask further queries.
Thank you.
