Are Glutathione and vitamin C advised for dry skin?

This Premium Q&A, reviewed and published, features a real conversation between an iCliniq user and a physician.

Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

My skin is dry and acne-prone. Can I take Glutathione and vitamin C doses ordered from herbiotics? Please help.

Thank you.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I can understand your concern. Regarding your symptoms, I believe you have developed acne vulgaris, possibly due to hormone imbalance or cosmetic changes. Yes, you can use glutathione and vitamin C. But if it fails, please use the following:

  1. Tablet Minocycline 500mg once three times a day for one week.
  2. Apply topical 2 percent Resorcinol once a day, or topical 0.1 percent tretinoin twice a day.
  3. 20 percent Azelaic acid once a day or 5 percent Dapsone gel once a day for one month.

Reply to me if you have more concerns or questions by scheduling a direct appointment or following up via chat, phone, or video consultation.

I hope this helps you.

Thank you.
