Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

Dry skin is quite common; however, with the correct regimen, it will be kept moisturized, healthy, and looking good. Given that you have dry skin, the key focus of your skincare regimen should be on cleansers, hydrators, and sun protection.

In the morning, after cleansing, you can apply the Niacinamide 2% serum if your skin reacts well to it. Niacinamide strengthens the skin barrier, reduces sensitivity caused by dryness, and generally improves skin texture. Just a few drops is enough; gently pat into the skin. Follow with a rich moisturizer, for example, a 3% vitamin E face moisturizer, which repairs the skin barrier and locks in moisture. This step is extremely important for dry skin.

No matter your skin type, sunscreen is a must, even if you spend most of your time indoors. Choose a sunscreen with sun protection factor (SPF) 50 that hydrates your skin. They also help hold moisture in and protect the skin from sun damage. Apply in the morning as the last step of your routine and reapply if you are outside for long periods of time.

Perform this cleansing ritual at night as well and follow it up with a facial serum that contains multiple molecules of hyaluronic acid to add additional moisture. This serum should be applied after your moisturizer, as it forms a layer of moisture that will prevent dryness and tightness.

Here are some more tips that will help you a lot:

  • Do not use very hot water when you wash your face.

  • Use exfoliants once a week at most, or skip it altogether if your skin feels tight or flaky, and don’t forget to drink lots of water during the day.

  • You can also use a humidifier in your home during the winter to help with dry skin.

By being consistent, this simple routine should help improve the comfort and hydration of your skin in a few weeks. Dry skin responds very well to gentle care.

I hope my answer has satisfied you.

Thank you.
