Patient's Query
Hello doctor,
I would like to have an ECG re-evaluated or get a second opinion, as I am unsure if my original conclusion with my local doctor was correct.
Please help.
Thank you.
Hello,
Welcome to icliniq.com.
I read your query and understood your concern.
I have reviewed your report (attachments removed to protect the patient’s identity). The electrocardiogram (ECG) evaluation report is as follows:
The baseline ECG indicates a slow heart rate (bradycardia); however, all other parameters are within normal limits.
The exercise ECG does not reveal any cardiac arrhythmias, aberrant electrical conduction, or significant signs of myocardial ischemia.
Additionally, you did not experience any chest pain during the stress test, which is a reassuring finding.
There was also an appropriate increase in heart rate during exercise, demonstrating chronotropic competence (normal ability of the heart to increase its rate with activity).
If you develop chest pain, shortness of breath, or any other symptoms that may suggest a cardiac origin, I would suggest further laboratory and diagnostic investigations to rule out coronary artery disease.
I hope this helps.
Kindly follow up if you have more doubts.
Thank you.
