Patient's Query

What is the difference between eptopic pregnancy and menstruation? I did some research and found that eptopic pregnancy bleeding can be heavy and have clots like a period. Does eptopic bleeding come and go? And menstruation does not continue for 7 days? How about having breast tenderness without nausea? Is it eptopic or menstruation?

Thanks for reaching out with iCliniq. I am very sorry about your medical condition. Dont worry i am here to take care of you. Regarding your questions about the difference between menstruation and ectopic pregnancy, menstruation is a bleeding that occurs during cyclical periods while ectopic pregnancy is a pregnancy that occur in the fallopian tube ectopic pregnancy bleeding does not come and go . it is an obstetric emergency that involve continuous bleeding and severe lower abdominal pain. And the menstrual bleeding averages around 5 to 7 days before stopping breast tenderness and nausea are mainly ectopic pregnancy I schedule another appointment for follow up via chat , phone or video consultation . Thanks for using icliniq and have a nice day.
