Patient's Query
Hello Doctor,
I am using Silodosin 8 mg for the treatment of my kidney stones. However, I am not experiencing ejaculation. What should I do?
Kindly advise.
Hello,
Welcome to iCliniq.com.
I understand your concern.
According to your complaints, you may be suffering from erectile dysfunction (ED). Reasons for erectile dysfunction (ED) include:
Stress due to work, family, or night duties.
Depression.
Varicocele.
Fear of failure.
Low self-esteem
Chronic masturbation.
Homosexuality (not attracted to the opposite sex).
Religious constraints.
Smoking and alcohol.
Long-term illness, such as heart disease, thyroid disease, kidney disease, or other illnesses, requires long-term medications.
Vitamin deficiency.
Negative attitude towards the partner.
Hormonal issues such as thyroid problems, low testosterone, and high prolactin.
Long-term use of medicines.
Diabetes and hypertension.
Tests needed:
Doppler of the penis.
USG (ultrasonography) pelvis and scrotum.
Blood pressure.
RBS (Random blood sugar).
Free T3 (Triiodothyronine), T4 (Thyroxine).
Testosterone.
TSH (Thyroid-stimulating hormone).
Please share more details regarding the above causes so we can work on diagnosis and treatment.
Plan regular exercise and yoga. Maintain a proper diet. Ultrasound of the scrotum can also help diagnose ED. One episode of ED may cause fear of recurrence. You can use Tab Zincovit (multivitamins and multiminerals) and Shelcal (Calcium tablets).
You can include exercises such as :
Basic: Kegels, squats, yoga, running, or fast walking for five minutes.
For missionary position: Planks, push-ups, mountain climbers, glute bridges.
For standing position: Bicep curls, pull-ups, jump squats.
For doggy style: Jump squats, walking lunges.
For cowgirl or girl-on-top: Glute bridges, leg raises.
Consuming a nutritious diet including strawberries, apples, avocados, sweet potatoes, sesame seeds, almonds, garlic, and a small amount of chocolate may offer health benefits. As a temporary solution, taking Mildfil tablets (Tadalafil) at a dose of 5 milligrams (mg) twice daily can be considered.
I hope you are satisfied with my answer. For further queries, you can consult me at iCliniq.
Thank you.
