Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I am not able to do sex for more than a minute. Can you please suggest what to do? Even a blowjob is not working. Am I getting dysfunctional early?

Please help.

Thank you.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I can understand your concern.

According to your complaints, you may be suffering from erectile dysfunction (ED).

Erectile dysfunction can have multiple causes. Common reasons include stress related to work, family issues, or night duties, as well as depression. Varicocele may also contribute, and an ultrasound of the scrotum can help diagnose it. Fear of failure after a single episode of erectile difficulty can sometimes lead to ongoing performance anxiety. Low self-esteem, including concerns related to chronic masturbation, may also play a role.

Lack of attraction to a partner, religious constraints, smoking, and alcohol use can contribute as well. Long term illnesses such as cardiac disease, thyroid disorders, kidney disease, or other conditions requiring prolonged medication may affect erectile function.

Simple vitamin deficiencies may also have an impact, and supplements such as Zincovit and Shelcal can be considered if needed. Hormonal problems, including thyroid imbalance, low testosterone, or elevated prolactin levels, are possible causes. Long-term drug use, diabetes, and hypertension are also significant contributing factors.

Evaluation may include a penile Doppler study, ultrasound of the pelvis and scrotum, blood pressure measurement, random blood sugar testing, Free T3 and T4 levels, testosterone levels, and TSH testing. Sharing more details about your symptoms and medical history will help guide diagnosis and treatment. Regular exercise and a proper diet should be part of your overall plan.

Helpful exercises include Kegel exercises, squats, yoga, running, and brisk walking. Strength-building exercises such as planks, push-ups, mountain climbers, glute bridges, bicep curls, pull-ups, jump squats, walking lunges, and leg raises can also improve stamina and blood flow.

A healthy diet that includes strawberries, apples, avocados, sweet potatoes, sesame seeds, almonds, garlic, and a small amount of dark chocolate may support vascular health. For temporary support, Tablet Maildril 5 milligrams may be used twice daily under medical supervision.

I hope this information will help you.

Kindly follow up if you have any further concerns.

Thank you.
