Patient's Query
Hello doctor,
I have been experiencing very low erections for two weeks. Before that, I had masturbated a lot; I had been stressing a lot these days. Am I fine? Sleep is also very irregular. How can I increase my sex energy?
Please help.
Thank you.
Hello,
Welcome to icliniq.com.
I understand your concern.
According to your complaints, you may be suffering from Erectile Dysfunction (ED).
Reason for erectile dysfunction (ED):
• Stress due to work or family-related night duties – plan for regular exercise and yoga.
• Depression.
• Varicocele – an ultrasound scrotum can help diagnose.
• Fear of failure - having one episode of ED once may make you feel you will end up with ED.
• Low self-esteem (chronic masturbation).
• Homosexuality – not attracted to the same sex.
• Religious constraints.
• Smoking and alcohol.
• Long-term illness – Cardiac disease, thyroid disease, kidney disease, or any other disease with long-term medication.
• Simple vitamin deficiency – you can use the tablet Zincovit (zinc supplement) and Shelcal (calcium supplement).
• Negative attitude towards your partner.
• Hormonal issue – thyroid issue, low testosterone, increased prolactin.
• Long-term drug usage.
• Diabetes and hypertension.
Need to check Doppler penis, USG (ultrasonography) pelvis and scrotum, blood pressure, RBS (random blood sugar test), Free T3 (triiodothyronine), T4 (tetraiodothyronine), testosterone, and TSH (thyroid-stimulating hormone).
Share more details regarding the above reasons, and we can work on diagnosis and treatment.
You need to plan for regular exercise and a proper diet.
List of exercises: basic exercises like Kegels, squats, yoga, running, or fast walking for five minutes.
Planks, push-ups, mountain climbers, and glute bridges.
Bicep curls, pull-ups, and jump squats.
Jump squats, walking lunges.
Glute bridges, leg raises.
Food: Strawberry, apple, avocado, sweet potato, sesame seed, almond, garlic, and a little chocolate.
For a temporary solution, I can use the tablet Maildril 5 mg (milligrams) twice a day.
I hope this helps.
Kindly follow up if you have more concerns.
Thank you.
