Patient's Query
Hi doctor,
I am a 17-year-old male. I eat around 4000 calories a day, meet all my macro and vitamin requirements, and drink 2.5 liters a day. I do not smoke, drink alcohol, or take drugs or any medications besides Amitriptyline. My query is about erectile dysfunction. I have had erectile dysfunction for almost a year now. I do not wake up with morning erections, and I cannot get a full erection at any moment with any amount of stimulation. I have had my blood and hormones tested, and everything came back normal. I have pretty good mental health, relatively normal stress and anxiety, and I am happy with my life aside from this, which is starting to severely affect my mood, as I have a girlfriend, and we are almost at the stage where we will want to have sex, but I cannot due to this issue.
I used to masturbate a lot before my relationship, multiple times a day and at least seven times a week, for over a year. I stopped this routine a few months ago, and the last time I masturbated was two weeks ago, and I have not seen any improvement.
I am not sure if this is related, so do not worry about this too much. I also have to force pee out occasionally, which might be normal, but I have to squeeze and let go multiple times to empty my bladder. I have talked to my doctor, and we are not sure where to go with the next steps. What should I do?
Thanks.
Hi,
Welcome to icliniq.com.
I can understand your concern.
I am very sorry about your medical condition, and I am glad that you are paying attention to changes in your body system. Regarding your symptoms, I believe you have developed erectile dysfunction, possibly due to chronic masturbation that may have resulted in acute prostatitis. Please stop the masturbation activities and take the following: one tablet of Sildenafil 50 mg for one week and Finasteride 2.5 mg for one week. Reply to me if you have more concerns or questions by scheduling a direct appointment or following up via chat, phone, or video consultation.
I hope this information will help you.
Thanks.
