Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

I am a 22-year-old male, and my weight is 165.3 pounds. I have taken Etizolam 1.5 for one year for headaches. It helped (changed life) me to reduce pain up to 70 %. Can I increase it for another 30 % relief?

Thank you.

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I would like to know further details about your problem:

1. Since when did you start to have headaches? Is it only one year? Or did it happen before also?

2. You feel that headache in which areas of your head? From where did it start? Is it only at the top head? or on the back of the head also?

3. What kind of headache is this- heaviness, throbbing, stretching, bursting, shooting pain, electric current-like pain, or some other kind?

4. Is it severe, moderate, or mild?

5. Is the headache episodic only, or is it some kind of persistent headache? If episodic headache, how long does one episode of it last (from onset to complete relief without medication)?

6. How frequent are these headache episodes before and now? How many times a week?

7. Do you feel any vomiting, watering from the eye, redness in the eye, or nasal congestion during a headache?

8. How is your day today mood?

9. How is your sleep?

10. How is your vision?

11. Have you noticed any trigger factors for this headache?

12. Have you ever undergone a CT/ MRI brain?

Etizolam is mainly having anxiolytic effects.

Do you also have associated anxiety?

I do not suggest increasing the dose right now. There are more medicines that will be better and safer for headaches.

Thank you.
