Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

Around five minutes ago, I noticed my eye was having a little pain when moving and had sharp pains after this. I figured it might be eye strain, so I went into a dark area and closed my eyes. Now the pain is gone. Can you please tell me the reason?

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I read your query and can understand your concern. We cannot define exactly what happened. It was probably a spasm of a muscle inside the eye called the ciliary muscle. So now you can forget about it unless it comes back again, in which case, you will have to see an ophthalmologist to check the eye, essentially the eye pressure, the cornea, and of course, the sight. Hope this helps. Thanks and take care.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
