Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

Thanks for the query.

Fungal infection indeed is very problematic if it becomes recurrent. First of all, you keep these precautions in mind.

  1. Do not keep the area wet at all.

  2. Use powder frequently to keep the area dry.

  3. Avoid itching and do not scratch it.

  4. Change the undergarments frequently.

  5. Do not apply general or steroid cream like Betnovate.

  6. Do not stop the medicine once you cure.

  7. Continue medicine for a long time to completely kill the fungal.

  8. Avoid excessive sweating and wet clothes.

  9. Apply Ketoconazole cream (broad-spectrum synthetic antifungal agent) and tablet Terbinafine 250 mg for one month or use Terbinafine cream and tablet Fluconazole) 150 mg twice in a week for one month.

  10. Take tablet Itraconazole(hard gelatin capsule, hypromellose, polyethylene glycol (PEG) 20,000, titanium dioxide) 200 mg once a day.

  11. For itching take a tablet Levocetirizine (Dihydrochloride)10 mg once at night for 10 days.

Hope I have clarified your query.

Thanks and regards.
