Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I am a diabetic and blood pressure patient diagnosed with lower limb blockage of the leg. Gangrene is present as well. I am worried. What is the treatment for this problem?

Please help.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

Sorry to hear about your health issues. Based on the results presented (attachments removed to protect the patient's identity), there is severe arterial insufficiency, which is why gangrene is present. Gangrene and lymphadenopathy are a consequence of insufficiency.

In this condition, it is best to do surgery. Angioplasty (a procedure that can open up narrowed or blocked arteries) will be the best management. If not, you have a high chance of losing your leg. I hope you get better soon.

Thank you.
