Patient's Query
Hi doctor,
My 4-year-old son always has a smelly fart. He is drinking enough water and pooping once a day. Please help.
Thanks.
Hi.
Welcome to icliniq.com.
I understand your concern.
Fart smell depends upon the quality of food we take. Food which causes a lot of gas should be avoided. Limit phytate-rich food. Add more fiber to the diet. Add fruits & vegetables. Avoid fast food. If these factors are considered & implemented, his bowel health will improve.
I hope this information will help.
Thanks.

Hi doctor,
Thanks for the reply.
He has fruits, vegetables, nuts, and meat or fish daily. He also has milk and one egg and rarely eats outside food.
Thank you.
