Gentamicin

Gentamicin belongs to a group of medications called aminoglycoside antibiotics. It is taken to treat several bacterial infections. They are given in cases of urinary tract infections, sepsis, endocarditis, pelvic inflammatory disease, and pneumonia. It works by inhibiting the growth of bacteria in the body.
