Patient's Query
Hello doctor,
I am concerned about past increased hair fall from one year. Is there a way to reduce my hair fall and hair regrowth in baldness? Kindly suggest.
Thank you.
Hello,
Welcome to icliniq.com.
I can understand your concern.
100 to 150 hair falls every day is normal. It should be considered as hair fall if the number of hair is more than this. Straightening and other procedures cause weakness of the hair roots. Other conditions like fever, typhoid, malaria, and thyroid, also cause hair fall. In males, most of the cases are of androgenic alopecia. It is a genetically determined disorder characterized by the gradual conversion of terminal hairs into indeterminate, and finally into barely noticeable hair.
I suggest you follow the instructions mentioned below.
Since you have already lost lots of hair, I suggest you opt for PRP (platelet-rich plasma) therapy with Minoxidil lotion with Morr-F (Finasteride) lotion 1 ml which is locally applied twice daily for initial two months, changes can be seen but do not discontinue it.
You may continue it for as long as you desire medical treatment for your hair fall.
Along with this also take vitamin supplements like tablet Xtraglo (L-Cysteine) once daily for six months.
Best treatment can be advised if you can provide photographs of your condition.
Kindly consult a specialist, talk to them, and take medications with their consent.
I hope this information will help you.
Thank you.
