Patient's Query
Hello doctor,
I am a 32-year-old woman. It seems like I am losing more and more hair every day. I have tried various shampoos and oils, but nothing seems to be working. I am worried that there might be a deeper issue affecting my hair. I have heard that certain vitamins and minerals are crucial for hair health, and maybe I am not getting enough of them. Can you please help me understand if there is a connection between my diet, nutrient intake, and hair loss? If so, what can be done about it?
Please help.
Hello,
Welcome to icliniq.com.
I understand your query.
Hair loss is caused by decreased protein intake and dry hair. You should eat a good protein-rich diet and condition your hair twice weekly. The best conditioner is hair oil. Hair loss of ten to 100 strands is normal. Keratin-based shampoo is best for hair strength, which prevents hair loss.
Secondly, you should not have any underlying diseases like tuberculosis or thyroid dysfunction.
Hope it helps.
Thanks and regards.
