Hello,
Welcome to icliniq.com.
I have gone through the details provided from your end and I understand your concern.
Patterned hair loss occurs due to different causes which include hormonal fluctuations, genetic susceptibility, vitamin and mineral deficiencies, due to underlying medical conditions like thyroid diseases, using hair styling and color products, using helmets for a long time, due to the presence of dandruff and due to fever or any other viral infections like chicken pox, COVID infections and other infections like dengue.
Patterned hair loss is of different grades, and treatment is based on the grade-
Grade 1: Little or no hair loss.
Grade 2: Mild receding hairline.
Grade 3: Hairline receding more and some loss on the vertex or crown area of the scalp.
Grade 4: Increase in the size of crown hair loss and further receding of the hairline.
Grade 5: Loss of hair from front and increase in size of hair loss on crown area forming a small bridge between the two of them.
Grade 6: Both hair loss areas merge, leaving only the sides and back of the hair.
Grade 7: Severe hair loss leaving only a strip of hair on the back.
Preventive measures of hair loss:
1. Avoid wearing helmets for long hours.
2. Make sure to use anti-dandruff shampoos like KZ plus (Ketoconazole and Zinc pyrithione) lotion once in every three days to prevent dandruff.
3. Make sure to massage the scalp with oil using a combination of coconut oil, castor oil, and vitamin E capsules once a week and keep on for one hour.
4. Make sure to include multivitamins and vitamin D3 capsules like Follihair (Multivitamins and Multiminerals) tablet and Lumia 60k (Cholecalciferol) capsules once a week.
5. Make sure to include more proteins in your diet including soya chunks, quinoa, chicken breasts, egg whites, and so on.
6. Anti-hair fall serum like Anaboom (Propylene glycol and Hydrolysed keratin) serum may be used daily at night for eight months to strengthen hair roots.
7. PRP (platelet-rich plasma) injections once a month may be done by using plasma of one's blood plasma. This is injected for six months on the scalp to reduce hair fall, strengthen hair roots, and increase hair density.
If there is existing hair loss- Use Minoxidil finasteride 1 ml (milliliters) solution once at night for 12 months. PRP injections and multivitamins like Follihair tablets may be consumed daily after food. Vitamin D3 capsules once a week will help. As a last resort, a hair transplant may be done only after direct consultation and a trichoscopic examination.
I hope this helps.
Thank you.
