What could be the reason for mild headache, stomach cramps, and diarrhea without any pain, and tenderness on the right side?
Patient's Query
Hello doctor,
I am a 22-year-old girl. Two days ago I began to feel extremely dizzy before work and had a mild headache later I had mild stomach cramps and diarrhea. I had no tenderness and no pain on the lower right side. I have become very lactose intolerant within the past year and cannot drink any milk. I am a ovo-lacto vegetarian. I am very active and I drink enough water, but I eat junk food more. My last menstrual period was a week ago and the only medication I take is Beyaz.
Kindy help.
Hello,
Welcome to icliniq.com.
I understand your concern. It is not life-threatening. It is likely gastritis and enteritis. You should avoid a fatty, oily, and spicy diet. Have some walks after having food instead of taking a rest. Have multiple small meals instead of heavy meals. Have regular sleep habits and avoid stress. Have lots of green leafy vegetables, and fruits. Avoid smoking and alcohol if any. You can take an antacid or Esomeprazole domperidone combination before breakfast once a day for a week. If not adequately relieved. If you still have loose motions then have the tablet Norflox TZ twice daily for a week. If loose motions frequency has decreased then have probiotics three times a day for five days. With each stool, you should have an ORS solution of 100 to 200 ml.
Kindly consult a specialist, talk to them, and take medications with their consent.
I hope this has helped you. Thank you.
