Patient's Query
Hello doctor,
I would like to inquire about my medical results from pre-employment. The finding is there is microscopic hematuria. What is the meaning of this and the probable cause? Should I get treatment for this?
Kindly help.
Hello,
Welcome to icliniq.com.
I can understand your concern.
Three issues are mentioned in your report. One is that you have some kind of mass or lump in both your breasts, for which they have suggested consulting with a gynecologist or a breast surgeon so that it can be completely evaluated what this mass or lump is. The second issue they have mentioned is your error of refraction, meaning that you have some issues with your eyesight. They have suggested going to an ophthalmologist (a doctor that deals with the issues of your eyes). The third issue they have mentioned, which you are also concerned about, is microscopic hematuria. In your urine analysis report, along with microscopic hematuria, there are also many pus cells. There are 40 to 45 pus cells in your urine analysis report, along with 8 to 12 red blood cells, which they have mentioned as microscopic hematuria. And you are also concerned about this. First of all, we have to make sure that this urine sample was not during your menstrual cycle. If this urine sample was taken in your menstrual cycle phase, or if it was taken when you were on your menses, then it can also present as microscopic hematuria and many pus cells. But if that urine sample was taken on days other than your menstrual cycle or menses phase, then this thing is significant. In this case, it can be due to either a urine infection or any obstruction in your urine tract, most commonly due to stone. But also keep in mind the other two issues: your breast mass or the lumps, and your error of reflection or the problem of your eyesight. These two things also need to be evaluated.
I hope you got your answer
Regards
