Patient's Query
Hi doctor,
I have hip joint pain that makes a cracking sound(crepitus) when I flex my hip and rotate it externally. But it has not been affecting my movement but I am scared of the possibility of it affecting my movement.
I cannot actually remember what caused it but I know when the pain started.
What could be the reason? Please help.
Thank you.
Hi,
Welcome to icliniq.com.
I read your query and understand your concern.
This is mostly due to snapping tendons of the hip joint - iliopsoas or adductors,
I suggest you take temporary medicines and do stretching exercises. Consult your physician and take the medications only with their consent.
Take these tablets only if you are not allergic to them. Do not take these tablets if you have bronchial asthma.
Learn iliopsoas stretching exercises and adductor stretching exercises from the internet and do it at home.
I hope this helps you.
Thank you.
Thank you.
