Patient's Query
Hello doctor,
I want to inform you about my current issue that has concerned me for many years. I am a 21-year-old female. I am traumatized due to my past. As a young girl, at the age of 19, I was always fascinated with exploring my body. However, I was very naive.
There came a time when my hymen broke. Losing virginity in my household is a severe issue. I have not lost it from intercourse yet. It occurred from my fingers, as there was a little blood at the time. I had no idea until I became an adult at the age of 20. Please let me know if this is capable of happening.
I want to receive evidence from a doctor. None of my family knows about this. I will be getting married in a month, and I need your help urgently.
Please help.
Thank you.
Hi,
Welcome to icliniq.com.
I understand your concern and will help you out. It is perfectly normal for teenagers to masturbate and explore their bodies. Sometimes during rough fingering, the hymen may get broken. Your hymen can also naturally stretch from physical activity like sports or using a tampon.
But if you have not had intercourse yet, then penetration is expected to be difficult for the first time (after marriage). I want to tell you that around 60 percent of girls do not bleed when they have sex for the first time. Hence, you should not be apprehensive regarding this and stop thinking about it right now. Take care, enjoy your marriage, and all the best for your married life.
I hope this helps.
Kindly revert so I can assist you further.
Thank you.
