Can I get even skin tone by using Cetaphil?

This Premium Q&A, reviewed and published, features a real conversation between an iCliniq user and a physician.

Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

My skin looks dull and oily in the T-zone. I have tried many products to get my skin tone even. As of now I am using tea-tree products, but nothing seems to be working. Please advice,

What products can I go for?

Is Cetaphil a good product to use?

Thank you.

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I can understand your concern.

Yes, Cetaphil has few good products. You can use Cetaphil cleansing lotion for oily skin and wash your face with Cetaphil Dermacontrol oil as a regular moisturizing lotion. Apply Onetone cream on the dull areas of the face twice daily. Take an antioxidant, capsule Antoxid HC once daily. Avoid direct exposure to sun and make use of umbrella, sunglass and scarf whenever you go out. Avoid intake of sugary foods, oiling of scalp and use only those cosmetics which have a label of non-comedogenic. Continue this for four weeks and then revert back.

Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

Thank you for the reply doctor.

Should Cetaphil cleansing lotion used before or after face wash?

Which face wash can I opt for?

Can I use Dermacontrol oil at night?

Please suggest.

Thank you.

Hi,

Welcome back to icliniq.com.

You can use Cetaphil cleansing lotion to wash your face twice daily. Dermacontrol moisturizer is a good moisturizer for regular use. You can use them thrice a day and also at night.

I hope this will help you.

Thank you.
