Patient's Query
Hello doctor,
Why does my stomach gurgle all the time?
I have noticed my stomach has been gurgling louder than it used to within the past couple of weeks.
I had my appendix removed six weeks ago, and I am not sure if that has anything to do with it.
Kindly help.
Thank you.
Hello,
Welcome to icliniq.com.
I read your query and understand your concern.
Firstly, the removal of the appendix has nothing to do with gurgles. It looks like gastritis, which could be due to any of the following reasons:
If your reason is any of those mentioned above, try to avoid it.
If not, take small, frequent meals, drink a lot of water, and avoid oily, spicy, and junk foods. If you have recovered well from your surgery, you can start some physical activity daily.
I hope this helps.
Thank you.
