What causes itching and sores in my wife after sex?

I am a married man. One day my wife had itching after our sex and after two days she rubbed it with her nails while itching then next day infection happened with a lot of sores we went to the doctor he said it looks like herpes we tested HSV IgG and IgM both negative and the doctor gave us Acivir for one week after two months she got two bumps on her vagina with lots of white discharge, she started getting white discharge randomly after eight weeks.

I tested for herpes HSV IgG 0.7 g/L and IgM 0.5 g/L are both negative and HIV negative. I had another partner for two months before it all happened and she never had any symptoms and I have also had no symptoms. Before the infection, my wife had a miscarriage and is taking some tablets given by the doctor. Now I am so stressed. What about my eight-week test tells me about my situation? I am so confused. Please guide me.
