Kidney Ultrasound

Renal ultrasonography is a noninvasive medical test that produces images of the kidneys and bladder using sound waves. It assists clinicians in the diagnosis and treatment of urinary problems. A renal ultrasound can determine the size, position, and form of the kidneys and adjacent organs, ureters, and bladder. Cysts, tumors, abscesses, blockages, fluid collection, and infections inside or around the kidneys can also get detected with sonography.
