Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I have been unable to conceive for the past 2 years. What could be the reason?

Kindly help.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I understand your concern. It is really stressful situation. I suggest you to follow a few instructions mentioned below.

  1. Have you done your partner's semen analysis? If not, then please get it done after 3 days of abstinence.
  2. It is advisable to continue with the tablet Folic acid 5 mg once a day till you conceive.
  3. Try to keep yourself stress-free, as it affects the quality of an egg.
  4. With your cycle of 32 days, which is fairly normal; try to keep planned relations from the 9th to the 20th day of the period calculating from the 1st day of the period.
  5. Whatever fluid comes out after sex is semen and not the sperm. Sperms are microscopic and they go up inside the uterus, the rest of the seminal fluid comes out.
  6. If you have already done with these, then please do hysterosalpingography (tubal patency test) on either the 8th, 9th, or 10th day of the period.

I hope this has helped you. Thank you.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
