Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I get these spots sometimes when I have sex with a condom. After I take the condom off, there are dark purple spots. Is this due to friction or something else? I have tried using latex-free and still have the same issue. They go after a couple of days. My test results for STI were also negative. What to do?

Please help.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

Thank you for writing and I understand your concern.

Allergies can cause such rashes and it is not due to STI (sexually transmitted infection) because you have had protected intercourse only. So do not worry. I would suggest you take a tablet of Levocetirizine (antiallergic) 10 milligrams once daily before sleeping.

Kindly consult a specialist, talk with them, and take medicines with their consent.

Hope it helps.

Thanks and regards.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
