I have just been told after my latest scans that the cancer has now spread to my brain in what they are calling brain metastases. I also have high blood pressure, and my neurologist is concerned about the blood pressure risk associated with whole-brain radiation therapy, which has been recommended to treat the metastases. I am trying to understand how brain radiation works. Please tell me,

Will it permanently affect my memory and personality?
