What to do with disinterested husband in married life?

This Premium Q&A, reviewed and published, features a real conversation between an iCliniq user and a physician.

Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

My husband does not show any interest in me. We have completed our 2.5 years of marriage, but for 1.5 years, he does not show any interest in me. Now I am very frustrated. My friends and family members are asking about the baby. For 1.5 years, we are not in a physical relationship. I cannot explain how much I am frustrated. My husband suffers from a kidney stone and had homeopathic medicine for a few months. Are there any side effects on the body? Please help.

Thanks.

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I understand your concern.

It would be best if you talk with your husband about your concern. Ask him what he is thinking about the future. Spend time with him and try to get closer to him. If he has any financial or social problems, ask him and try to find a solution. You also make yourself quite interesting, which means do not just behave like a wife. Talk with him as a good friend and try to spend time. You must care for your body, look beautiful, smell good, etc. Do not get frustrated. Make life exciting and attractive for both of you. I do not know about homeopathic medication side effects. You have to ask his homeopathic doctor. I request you take him to a psychiatrist, who can help both of you with marital counseling and sex education. It is not possible to explain and counsel in the message.

I hope the information will help.

Thank you.
