Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I am 19 years old. I am 5 feet 7 inches tall and weigh 77 pounds. I have been masturbating since I was a teen. I have been small and underweight since I was a child. I was masturbating four to five times a week at this point. After learning more about it, I have been attempting to. I have only masturbated twice in the previous month, but the want to do so is so strong that I keep checking my phone, but I try to resist. Is it damaging my body? Is that why I am so skinny? Because my daily calorie consumption ranges from 1708 Kcal to 1828 Kcal. Should I entirely stop masturbating, or should I raise the frequency to four or five times per month?

Kindly help.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I read your query and can understand your concern.

Masturbation is a normal habit, around 95 percent of males do that. It is just another way to have sex without a partner. It is good practice.

  1. It helps to relieve stress.

  2. It boosts mood.

  3. It improves sleep.

  4. It helps to prevent depression and anxiety.

  5. It relaxes the mind of a person.

  6. It relieves pain and muscle cramps.

  7. It relieves the sexual tension.

  8. It improves the confidence of a person.

  9. Allows one to have better sex.

  10. It helps the person understand his needs and desires.

  11. In females, masturbation increases vaginal blood flow.

Masturbation will not harm your penis, having it two to three times a week is not an issue, but more than that can cause tiredness, loss of concentration, and a sense of infertility. Ways to reduce masturbation include:

  1. Sex education.

  2. Physical exercises.

  3. Sleep adjustment.

  4. Quality of sleep.

  5. Healthy and balanced diet.

  6. Programming for leisure time.

  7. Development of spirituality.

  8. Taking a cold bath.

For tiredness or a decrease in strength, I suggest you use a capsule of Astymin forte (amino acids) once in the morning and a tablet Shelcal (Vitamin D and Calcium) once in the night after food for thirty days.

I hope this information will help you.

Thank you.
